Discover Lugano with a tourist train

Are you in Lugano for a holiday? Do you have some free time to spare during your business stay?

A fascinating city tour on board of the likeable tourist train on wheels "La freccia rossa" (the red arrow) is what you've been waiting for!

You can discover all of Lugano's attractions, including its surroundings, from Monte Bré to Monte San Salvatore (which is the reason why Lugano is often called Europe's Rio de Janeiro), without forgetting the city's panoramic lakeshore...

You can choose to do the whole circuit which takes approximately 40 minutes, or you can hop off at any stop along the circuit and re-board the train later on during the day. The main stop is at Piazza Manzoni, only one minute from our hotel. In addition, our guests receive a discount on the ticket.

Summer timetable (mid-March till end of October):

Daily, departures every half-hour between 10 am and 6 pm

(during July-August additional trips avery 45 min. between 7:45 pm and 10 pm)

Winter timetable (November till mid-March):

Sundays and holiday only, departures every 45 min. between 11.30 am and 4 pm

Adults: special price CHF 8.00

Children between 4 and 12 years of age: special price CHF 5.00

Children up to three years of age (max one per family) are free!
